Yellow Jasper owes its sunny color to inclusions of iron hydroxide (goethite). It is opaque with a dull, greasy luster and belongs to the microcrystalline quartz group.
It is primarily found in Egypt, Brazil, and the USA. Yellow Jasper strengthens self-confidence, endurance, and digestion. It is assigned to the solar plexus chakra and is considered a protective stone for travelers.
