Rose quartz is the pink variety of the quartz family. It ranges from pale, almost white pink to strong pink hues and is usually opaque or permeated by fine cracks.
Significant deposits are found in Brazil and Madagascar. As a stone of love, it promotes opening of the heart, self-love, and empathy. It has a calming effect on the heart and circulation and is primarily associated with the heart chakra.
